2 Chronicles
7-14, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from
their wicked ways. Then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Grace and peace to all the saints. We the men of Springfield Gardens United Methodist Church
Davidic Intercessory Prayer group. We boldly proclaim that prayer is the lifeblood of
this ministry and every ministry in the house. We acknowledge this truth in the
affirmation of the Holy Spirit. We stand on the word as it’s related in
the scripture Psalm 1:3, “He shall be like a tree planted by the river of
water. That brings forth its fruit and its season. Whose leaf also shall not wither
and whatever he does shall prosper.”
This prayer group was birth some years ago when Brother Edward Christopher was
blessed with the idea of men getting together to pray on a regular
session. Hence this Ministry was birth. Brother Edward passed away
this summer and needless to say he is greatly missed. We thank God
for his vision, and we look forward to the day when once again
we can join with him singing this Glorious Anthem, “I Just Want To Praise Him”. Until then may his soul rest in
peace.
