God's Anointed Dancers (GAD)
This is the Liturgical Dance Ministry of SGUMC. Directed by Min. Leslie Duroseau the ministry has four components,
that articulate ministry of Word & Music through movement.

This is the Sign Ministry of our worship experience. Led by Barbara Whitlow they articulate the spoken Word through American
Sign Language, and singing through dramatic movement combined with American Sign Language. HOZ Youth meet on Thursdays from 16:00PM
- 7:30PM. HOZ Adults meet on Fridays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.

Directed by Rodbert Ellis, this choir ministers traditional and contemporary hymns on the first Sunday of each month, as
well as revivals and other special occasions. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:30PM.

Youth Choirs
The Youth Choirs, minister contemporary christian music on the fourth Sunday of each month. The Children's Choir
directed by Min. Wanda Nash-Ellis, and Rodbert Ellis rehearse on Mondays at 6:30PM, and the Teen Choir
directed by Rodbert Ellis rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:30PM.

Men of Valor - (Men's Choir)
Directed by Min. Emery B. Barber, this choir ministers on the third Sunday of each month. Their rehearsals take place
in the Sanctuary on Saturdays at 9:30AM after Men's Davidic Prayer.

Purpose Ministry
This choir ministers contemporary gospel music on the second Sunday of each month, directed by Min. Sermone Frink.
They meet on the first and last Tuesdays of each month at 7:30PM.

Tehillah
This group leads the service in the ministry of praise. It is comprised of singers, dancers, and sign ministry. Directed
by Min. Sermone Frink they meet on the second and third Mondays of each month at 7:30PM.

Zamar
This ministry represents the instrumental division of praise. Piano, Keyboard, Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar, Rhythm, and
Horn Ministers accompany the entire Music & Arts ministry in various aspects of praise and worship. They rehearse on third
Mondays of each month at 7:30PM.

Audio/Video Ministry
This group under the direction of Mark Bacchus facilitates the mixing, mastering, usage, and maintenance of all audio/video
equipment in an effort to create a balanced atmosphere conducive to the worship experience.
